Returns Policy and Terms for Digital Products, Services and Custom Work APHR Consulting Services (APHR)
Effective date
This policy applies to all purchases made via APHR consulting platforms, website, email or direct agreement.
By purchasing any product or service, you agree to these terms.
Digital Products and Downloadable Content
Definition
Digital products include templates, guides, documents, toolkits and any downloadable files.
Policy
• All digital products are non refundable once purchase is completed
• This applies immediately upon access, download or delivery
• No returns, exchanges or cancellations are permitted for digital products
• You are responsible for checking suitability before purchase
Support
• Support is provided for access and basic usage queries
• Support does not include redesign or custom modification of purchased content
• Reasonable assistance will be provided to resolve access issues
Consumer rights
• This policy operates in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 relating to digital content
• By completing purchase, you consent to immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge loss of cancellation rights
Retained Services
Definition
Retained services include ongoing HR support, advisory services, and monthly agreements.
Cancellation
• Retained services require one month written notice for cancellation
• Notice begins from the date written confirmation is received
• Services remain active during the notice period
• All agreed work within scope will continue during notice period
• Fees remain payable during notice period
Termination
• APHR may terminate a retained agreement with reasonable notice if services fall outside scope or payment terms are not met
• Any outstanding fees remain due at termination
Custom Documents and Bespoke Work
Definition
Custom documents include policies, contracts, handbooks, letters, reports and any tailored HR documentation.
Policy
• Custom work is non refundable once instruction has been confirmed and work has commenced
• These documents are created specifically for your organisation and requirements
• Returns and cancellations are not permitted after work begins
Revisions
• Two rounds of revisions are included
• Revisions must remain within the original agreed brief
• Additional changes outside scope may incur further charges
Approval
• Final approval confirms completion of the work
• Once approved, responsibility transfers to the client for implementation and use
General Terms
Scope of service
• All services are delivered based on the agreed brief or written instruction
• Any work outside scope requires separate agreement
Payment terms
• Payment terms are agreed prior to commencement of work
• APHR reserves the right to pause or stop services if invoices are overdue
Liability
• APHR provides guidance based on current UK employment law and best practice
• Final employment decisions remain the responsibility of the client
• APHR is not liable for outcomes resulting from implementation decisions made by the client
Communication
• All instructions, approvals and changes must be confirmed in writing
• Email communication is accepted as written confirmation
Data and document use
• All documents created remain the intellectual property of APHR until full payment is received
• Once paid in full, the client receives a licence to use the documents internally only
• Redistribution, resale or sharing outside the organisation is not permitted
• By purchasing any product, ADHOC service, or retained service, you agree to these terms as they are set out.
